At Amgen, Human Performance Technology is used to drive safety across functions, including Operations; Research & Development; and Sales. For over a decade, Six Boxes Performance Thinking has provided the HPT methodology for analyzing conditions that enable and obstruct desired performance. This session shows how Amgen’s Six Boxes Practitioners use Performance Thinking in the root cause analysis of safety incidents, as well as in the execution of global initiatives to support a safety culture.

Gina Rester-Zodrow is the Director of Operations Learning & Performance, and the process owner of Six Boxes Performance Analysis and Error Management for Amgen.
